Our Virtual Adult Dance Classes bring the dance studio to people’s living rooms. For the duration of Dance Place’s closure, on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, our incredible roster of dance teachers will lead a live streamed dance class on Facebook live. Our Studio Manager, Kevin White, will be part of the live stream each day to answer any questions and provide support and encouragement.
Virtual Class Schedule:

Tuesdays at 6:30pm: Tap/Body Percussion with SOLE Defined
Wednesdays at 6:00pm: Beginner Hip-Hop with Culture Shock

Our Virtual Youth Programming presents several opportunities for kids and their families to dance together during this time. Each week, two new video classes will be added to our website, www.danceplace.org/virtual-youth-programming/. These short dance videos will feature teaching artists from Dance Place’s Education team, each teaching different styles of dance for all ages. Along with these kid specific classes, Dance Place will also be sharing Family Fun classes. Each class will be streamed live on Facebook on Fridays at 11am. Our Family Fun classes are specifically designed for the whole family to take together.
Family Fun Class Schedule:
April 10th: West African with Mama Sylvia
April 17th: Step with Princess Riddick
April 24th: Party Moves with Anastasia Johnson
